Farewell My Pet produce a range of FSC certified coffins and caskets. They are also available in Oak and Elm hardwood veneer and Oak hardwood mouldings - containing a minimum of 35% FSC.

All the mouldings used on this product consist of the same material, all carrying FSC certification from our suppliers.
Other coffins in our FSC range will consist of plain mdf painted in various colours and finished with water based paint.
All our products can be traced right through the production process from initial purchase to despatch.
FSC material is stored in a separate container outside of our main storage areas so no contamination can occur. Mouldings come supplied in separate crates for each type of paper foil and opened separately. All crates are marked by our supplier with the FSC logo.
Orders taken for FSC products will be marked on computerised order forms, all orders are processed in this way, for added security orders are logged in files and also on a card index. The nature of our product ie. coffins leave no room for error so we are confident contamination should not occur.
FSC coffins and caskets will be given to only trained personnel who have the responsibility of machining the orders individually, they also have to place all orders on designated pallets and monitoring the order right through to the production process when the coffin or casket has reached the despatch area. All production carry a ticket containing information including date of manufacture, description of item and on all FSC items the chain of custody number and logo. |

The invoices sent to our customers at present are very comprehensive. Everything is individually marked and carries the same information as the tickets. Every item despatched to customers can be quickly and correctly traced within minutes.
All invoices carry the certificate number and proudly display the logo to promote our commitment to help the environment.
In the unlikely event that materials used in the manufacture of our FSC range should become unavailable, customers would be informed of the problem and no product would leave our premises with a certificate number of FSC mark.
