You can prolong the life of a burial casket in a number of ways.

 

1. When preparing the hole place a bed of sand (approximately 2 inches deep) at the bottom, using 2 house bricks raise the casket off the floor, this will aide drainage. It is also beneficial to lay a sheet of plastic over the top of the casket which will displace water.

 

2. We do offer a service to zinc line caskets, this means that the inside of the casket is lined with a thin layer of zinc including an inner lid to seal the box. The outer casket will biodegrade but leave the inner intact for years to come.
